Northaw Village Hall
Northaw Village Hall is a completely self-sufficient unsubsidised charitable organisation that is run by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Hall
The hall caters for a wide variety of clubs, institutes and classes, as well as being used for events, children’s parties and local polling during elections. The main hall has a capacity for 120 people, or 100 people seated at tables as well as a stage. The stage has a microphone and speakers, although hirers may wish to bring their own sound system as long as sound is limited to avoid upset to neighbouring properties. In addition there is a kitchen and toilet facilities. The hall has two entrances including disabled access from the main road.
Kitchen
The kitchen links to the main hall through a serving hatch. It has a gas hob and cooker in addition to a small microwave. There is ample cutlery, crockery, cups and bowls. Hirers are expected to bring their own tea towels and dispose of waste in sacks into the bins in the car park.
Car Park
There is dedicated private parking, catering for 24 vehicles, including two disabled parking spaces.
Book the hall
The hall can be hired by contacting the bookings secretary on bookings.northawvh@gmail.com. You will then receive a booking form to complete with our terms and conditions. Please note that out of respect for our neighbours, we reserve the right to decline bookings that may be too noisy, such as parties for teenagers and young adults. In general, we do not hire after 9.30 pm except in specific circumstances
